"Ever to be the Best"

Kelvinside Academy was opened in 1878 and became fully independent in 1985. It occupies a site in the leafy Kelvinside area of Glasgow. With the Junior Start, Junior and SeniorSchools sharing the same site, and at all stages enjoying small classes, we provide an environment in which the individual will flourish.

The school motto "Ever to be the best" aptly summarises Kelvinside Academy's philosophy.
In all areas of school life - academic, sportingand cultural - we aim to let each boy and girl
realise their potential in full.
